A Google Keep-inspired note app (React + TypeScript + Vite) that doubles as an editor comparison lab: switch a note between CKEditor, Tiptap, TinyMCE, Lexical, Froala, Quill, or a plain textarea and feel the differences yourself.
Released: Fri May 23 2025
What's inside
A simple, responsive note-taking app with notes stored in local storage - and one unusual feature: every note can be edited with a different rich text editor. CKEditor, Tiptap, TinyMCE, Lexical, Froala, Quill, and a plain textarea sit behind one switch, which makes it a hands-on comparison lab rather than just another Keep clone.
Why it exists
It started as the base for my CKEditor weekend video series and grew into the showcase I use whenever someone asks \"how do these editors actually differ in practice?\" - the honest answer is a switch away.
