At T3CON TYPO3 Conference, this talk presented the CKEditor Pack as a new open-source initiative created to enhance and unify rich content editing in TYPO3. Built specifically for the TYPO3 ecosystem, the CKEditor Pack brings together a curated set of editing, collaboration, and productivity features while preserving the familiar TYPO3 look and feel. The goal is simple: reduce fragmentation, simplify configuration, and make advanced editing capabilities accessible out of the box.

The session walks through the motivation behind the project, inspired by successful community models in other CMS ecosystems, and highlights how existing free plugins and maintainers can contribute to a shared, sustainable solution. Through practical examples and a live-style demonstration, the talk shows the benefits for different roles. Editors gain faster, cleaner workflows; admins get better governance and consistency. Integrators benefit from modular architecture and extensibility; and contributors are invited to actively shape the future of the project.

As an open-source, community-first effort, the CKEditor Pack represents a long-term vision for TYPO3 editing: collaborative, powerful, and built together with the ecosystem. The session concludes with a look ahead at what’s next and how the TYPO3 community can get involved.
