Webinar with Marcin Burek (Product Manager at CKEditor) on the official CKEditor support for AI coding agents: an installable skill and a hosted documentation MCP server that give agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot accurate, version-aware knowledge instead of stale training data.
Released: Thu Sep 17 2026
What the session covered
Development teams increasingly rely on AI coding agents to ship faster. The challenge: agents working from stale training data guess at installation methods, misconfigure plugins, and sometimes just hallucinate. Together with Marcin Burek we showed how the official CKEditor support for AI agents fixes that at the source.
- The CKEditor skill - installed in your agent with a single command (
npx skills add ckeditor/skills), working across Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Gemini, Cline, AMP, Zed, and more. - Guided integration - how the skill walks agents through installation methods (npm, CDN, or ZIP), framework selection, plugin selection, toolbar configuration, and unlocking premium features - including setting the license key without trial and error.
- The documentation MCP server - semantic search over live docs, so the agent answers version-specific questions from current documentation instead of guessing.
Who it was for
Engineering leads, frontend developers, and platform teams integrating CKEditor into their applications - especially those already using AI coding agents in their workflow.
